Joe Biden, whose real name is Joseph Robinette Biden has become president of the United States on the 20th January 2021 and there is a lot of work to biden.
Who is he ?
Joseph Robinette Biden Jr was born on the 20th November 1942 in Scranton. He is from an Irish Catholic family, his mother’s named Catherine Eugenia Biden and his father’s named Joseph R. Biden, Sr.
He has 2 brothers Francis , James and his sister is named Valerie.
He studied at the university of Delaware. after obtaining a law degree in 1968, he began a law career in Wilmington.
He was professor of constitutional law , then became a united states senator. Finally he was elected as the 47th vice president of the united states.
He got married to Neilia Hunter in 1966 but she died in car accident in 1972. He got married again in 1977 with Jill Tracy Jacobs.
His new role
Recently he became the 46e Président of the United States. He promised a lot of things for his program :
-he wants to put the « Obamacare » back (like the « securité sociale » in france we don’t pay the selves)
-he wants to unravel the program of Trump, abolish the separation of families’ program at the Mexican border
- he wants to reestablish trust with the allies of the united states with europe…
-he wants to fight against global warmingand to come back in « accord de Paris »
-he wants to help the african américan comunity by helping them with a 50 billions dollars fund
-and he is more engaged in the fight against COVID 19
An astonishing start
he just arrived at the head of the U.S. but Joe Biden is already really busy with all the events :
-the riot and the storming of the capitol. During the election of Joe Biden the Trump supporters came in the senators’ house to protest the results
-impeachment of Donald trump : because the event of the capitol Trump was victim of a second impeachment the first tim in U.S. history, he was accused of disaformation on social media because he didn’t overcome his defeat
As said in the introduction Joe Biden has a lot of work to do in this period of troubles for the democracy in the U.S.
But if the majority of U.S citizens voted for him, we can trust that Joe Biden is the solution for America.
